An Act to provide a new name for the Bight of Biafra.

1. New name for Bight of Biafra

The bight on the south-east coast of Nigeria hitherto known as the Bight of Biafra
shall from henceforth and for all purposes be known as the Bight of Bonny, and all references to the Bight of Biafra in any law however made having effect in Nigeria or in any
instrument, map or document whatsoever shall be construed as references to the Bight of
Bonny.

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Bight of Bonny Act.
